Who can submit an enquiry?
An enquiry via the registration of interest form can be submitted by any interested party – an individual or a legal entity. The enquiry is informational, does not constitute an application to invest and creates no obligation for either you or Koykan.
What happens after I submit an enquiry?
Our team responds personally to every enquiry. In the qualification call we go through your questions, profile and objectives together, and explain how each capital channel works. Only after that call, if you wish to proceed, does registration on the closed portal follow.
Which channel is right for me?
We establish that together in the qualification call. The channels differ in horizon, risk profile and the way returns are generated – from fixed interest on a bond to a stake in profitable locations. Send us an enquiry and we will suggest the channel that matches your objectives.
Why don't you publish specific investment terms on the public website?
The regulatory framework we operate under distinguishes the general presentation of a business from the provision of binding documentation about a specific investment. We publish the basic terms on the current opportunities pages, and we provide the binding documentation and subscription materials once a registration of interest has been submitted. This sequence protects investors and ensures that every decision is made on the basis of complete, formal documentation rather than marketing content.
Does the investment carry risk?
Yes. Every investment carries risk, including the risk of partial or total loss of the amount invested. Koykan is in a growth phase and operates in a demanding environment. Before making any decision, familiarise yourself with the risks described on the Risks page and in the documentation we provide through the closed portal. We give no guarantee of returns; all yield indications describe the mechanics, not a promise.
How do I exit the investment?
The exit route depends on the channel. A bond has a maturity and is repaid at maturity; equity channels generate returns through dividends, share buy-back programmes, trading on a stock exchange where the shares are listed, and long-term strategic scenarios. The investment is generally long-term in nature and liquidity may be limited. The exact exit terms for each instrument are set out in the documentation we provide after identity verification.
What is the tax treatment?
The tax treatment depends on the type of instrument and on your personal status, so we do not generalise about it on the public website. Koykan does not provide tax advice; for your own situation we recommend consulting a tax adviser. Information on each individual instrument forms part of the documentation in the closed portal.
What is the closed investor portal?
The closed portal is a secure area of the platform intended for registered investors who have completed identity verification. Inside the portal you will find issue documentation, subscription materials and details of each channel. The portal is in preparation and will become available in the next phase of the platform’s development.
What is identity verification and why is it required?
Identity verification (Know Your Customer) is a legally required procedure for verifying an investor’s identity before access is granted to investment documentation. The process is carried out digitally and covers an identity document and basic personal details. Identity verification protects both investors and the platform, and is standard practice across all regulated capital markets.
Who supervises the Koykan investment platform?
Active advertising of investment activities takes place in the Republic of Croatia, where the supervision of financial services is carried out by the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA). Details are set out in the legal notice.
Can I submit an enquiry if I am not based in Croatia?
You can. The website is intended for Croatian investors and active advertising takes place in Croatia, but an enquiry initiated on your own initiative is received and documented by us regardless of jurisdiction. In our reply, our team will explain which options are applicable to your situation.
Is there any obligation after speaking with the team?
No. Neither the enquiry nor the qualification call creates any obligation. Any decision to proceed is yours, at your own pace, once you have all the information you need.
